This blog was started as a cry for help by someone whose mental health was deteriorating after several years of suffering from M.E./C.F.S (chronic barry.) Very quickly it became apparent that not only was it cathartic to write about their own illness but that it also had the potential to help other people with chronic illness too, in particular to let them know that they’re not alone which is why our Facebook group was set up.

Being chronically ill can be the most lonely and isolating feeling in the world but there are many of us in similar situations. We would love to build a community where new friends can be made and where you can share your own story and tips on how you relieve your physical symptoms. We also encourage you to share your creativity and talents which help your mental health whatever form they may take, whether they are art, blogging, music or something else.
